Softball Recap: Derry Trojans vs. Ligonier Valley Rams

Derry can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Ligonier Valley Rams out 2-1. This was payback for Derry, who suffered a 6-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Haylee Myers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.
