Football Game Preview: Wayland-Cohocton vs. Red Jacket

On Friday Red Jacket take on Wayland-Cohocton at 7:00 PM. Red Jacket have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Wayland-Cohocton are surely hoping to exploit.

After a dominant victory in their match two weeks ago, Red Jacket were humbled last Saturday. They came up short against Dundee, falling 20-28. Red Jacket's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, after a disappointing 6 points in their last matchup, Wayland-Cohocton made sure to put some points up on the board against Wellsville. Wayland-Cohocton took the game and then some with a 54-6 win over Wellsville. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-0.

Wayland-Cohocton's win lifted them to 3-2 while Red Jacket's loss dropped them down to 3-2. We'll find out if Wayland-Cohocton can add another positive mark to their record or if Red Jacket can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Wayland-Cohocton's step.
