Ygnacio Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Preston Oliver out in front who went 9 for 10 en route to 22 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Oliver a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Kellogg Jr, who posted 14 points in addition to five boards and four steals.
Ygnacio Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northgate only racked up five assists.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, College Park beat Pittsburg 74-69 on Saturday.

Ygnacio Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Ygnacio Valley and College Park are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Ygnacio Valley hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 64.6 points per game. However, it's not like College Park struggles in that department as they've been averaging 63.3 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Ygnacio Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over College Park when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 58-48. Will Ygnacio Valley repeat their success, or does College Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
