Volleyball Recap: East Hartford's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newington, East Hartford was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Windsor Warriors by a score of 3-1. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

East Hartford walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 15-25, 25-20.

Thomson Tran was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave him a new career-high.

East Hartford's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Windsor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

East Hartford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against South Windsor on the 23rd. Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
