Volleyball Recap: Wilmer-Hutchins Takes a Loss

Wilmer-Hutchins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lancaster Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Wilmer-Hutchins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lancaster, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Wilmer-Hutchins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Newman Smith on the 21st. As for Lancaster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Seagoville on the 21st.
