Volleyball Recap: Antigo Comes Up Short

Antigo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Tomahawk Hatchets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hatchets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Tomahawk was led to victory by Sophia Kiser and Jessica Gebauer. Kiser had 12 digs and two assists, while Gebauer had seven digs. Those two assists gave Kiser a new career-high.

Antigo's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Tomahawk, their record is now 14-16.

Antigo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Rhinelander on the 11th. As for Tomahawk, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Northland Pines on the 11th.
