Football Recap: Glades Central Gets the Win

While Glades Central put up some points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Boynton Beach. The Glades Central Raiders walked away with a 13-0 victory over the Boynton Beach Tigers. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Boynton Beach had strong showings from J. Pierre-Louis, who gained 112 total yards, and E Roundtree, who threw for 159 yards on 12 of 20 attempts. The dominant performance also gave Roundtree a new career-high in rushing yards (40).

Glades Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Boynton Beach, they moved to 3-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Glades Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Palm Beach Lakes on the 10th. As for Boynton Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against West Boca Raton on the 11th.
