Winchester Community entered their tilt with Union on Saturday with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. They put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Winchester Community was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-7, 25-12.

Auden Hummel paced Winchester Community's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hummel got some help from Lyndi Whitenack and her 22 assists. Whitenack was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Winchester Community's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Union, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Winchester Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Monroe Central on the 27th. As for Union, they will be playing at home against Shenandoah at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
