Basketball Recap: Hagerty Huskies vs. Osceola Kowboys

Hagerty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 69-51 bruising from the Osceola Kowboys. The Huskies were not able to make up for their loss to the Kowboys from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Hagerty lost, don't look at Asa Kohn. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 16 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Ortiz, who posted ten points.

Luke Mccrimon was his usual excellent self, going 11 of 16 on his way to 27 points and seven rebounds for Osceola. That's the most points Mccrimon has posted since back in January of 2024. Jordan Mason was another key player, going 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points and five assists.

Hagerty's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Osceola, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Hagerty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 79-53 victory against Seabreeze on the 4th. As for Osceola, they will take on Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Osceola's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
