Basketball Game Preview: Sacopee Valley Hawks vs. Old Orchard Beach Seagulls

Sacopee Valley is 1-9 against Old Orchard Beach since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Sacopee Valley Hawks will look to defend their home court against the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sacopee Valley will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Richmond, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. Sacopee Valley took down Richmond 54-38 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Old Orchard Beach). They breezed by North Yarmouth Academy to the tune of 72-31 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Seagulls sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Old Orchard Beach's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Sacopee Valley, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.
