Nathan Hale scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Holy Names Academy by a score of 15-14. The Raiders have struggled against Holy Names Academy recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Nathan Hale got a massive performance out of Ainslie Smith, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Smith is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Josie Ellis was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Nathan Hale's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Holy Names Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.
