Basketball Recap: Schaumburg Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Stephanie Tenuto and Giada Falco

Schaumburg Christian lost against Alden-Hebron back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alden-Hebron Green Giants. The Conquerors just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Giada Falco and Stephanie Tenuto certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Falco posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Tenuto earned eight points along with seven boards and seven steals. Tenuto has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 27 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Bustamante, who put up six points and seven steals.

Schaumburg Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Alden-Hebron, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-9.

Schaumburg Christian will square off against Christian Life at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alden-Hebron, they will take on Harvard at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
