Basketball Recap: Community Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

It's playoff time, and Community Christian Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 67-59 win over the Covington Academy Bulldogs on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kylin McDonald was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 12 boards. He is becoming a predictor of Community Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 6-3 (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Beau Moore was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Community Christian Academy's record now sits at 9-7. As for Covington Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Community Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-62 loss against Promise Prepatory Academy on the 18th. Covington Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
