Basketball Recap: Milford Mill Academy Comes Up Short

If Milford Mill Academy was feeling good fresh off their 57-12 takedown of Randallstown last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Milford Mill Academy Millers fell 74-64 to the Pikesville Panthers on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (57), the Millers still had to take the loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pikesville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Qaidence David, who to rack up 20 points along with eight boards and five blocks. The dominant performance gave David a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariah Jones-Bey, who on her way to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

Milford Mill Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Pikesville, their record now sits at 19-3.

As of now, neither Milford Mill Academy nor Pikesville have any future games scheduled.
