Volleyball Recap: Wilson Wildcats vs. Lovejoy Leopards

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wilson can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Lovejoy Leopards on Tuesday. Considering the last time the Wildcats couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-18, 25-11.

Lovejoy was led to victory by Emerson Boyd and Sienna Franks. Boyd had six digs and three aces, while Franks had seven digs and five aces. Boyd has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 16 times she's played.

With the defeat, Wilson broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-12. As for Lovejoy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 36-8 record this season.
