Lee-Scott Academy hadn't done well against St. Anne-Pacelli recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Vikings 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Despite the loss, St. Anne-Pacelli saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Allie Vickery had ten digs and two assists.

Lee-Scott Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 26-8 record this season.

Lee-Scott Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Northside Methodist Academy on the 27th. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Columbus on the 27th.
