Basketball Game Preview: Orange Lutheran Lancers vs. St. John Bosco Braves

Orange Lutheran is 0-10 against St. John Bosco since January of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Orange Lutheran Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. John Bosco Braves at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Orange Lutheran was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-56 to Mater Dei. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. John Bosco's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Orange Lutheran, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9.

Orange Lutheran might still be hurting after the 72-48 loss they got from St. John Bosco in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of St. John Bosco's Max Ellis, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 25 points.
