Football Game Preview: Corning Bobcats vs. Rector Cougars

The Corning Bobcats will face off against the Rector Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corning will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Friday, Corning was fully in charge, breezing past Tunica Academy 58-6. Fans of the Bobcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last game, Rector made sure to put some points up on the board against Marshall two weeks ago. The Cougars took down the Bobcats 42-26. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Corning's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Rector, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Corning took their victory against Rector in their previous meeting on September 5th by a conclusive 28-6 score. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
