Volleyball Recap: Stanton Comes Up Short

Stanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4.

Stanton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Jefferson on the 6th. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Underwood on the 6th.
