Basketball Recap: Bristow Comes Up Short on the Road Against Kiefer

Bristow kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 76-46 loss at the hands of the Kiefer Trojans. The Pirates have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Bristow's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan McDaniel, who posted 12 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Wilson, who put up 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bristow is set to take on their familiar foe Mannford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kiefer will face off against rival Sperry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
