Soccer Game Preview: Tascosa vs. Plainview

The Tascosa Rebels will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Plainview Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Tascosa is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Plainview is hoping to do what Canyon couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to Tascosa's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Tascosa blew past Canyon 8-1. It was an even better day for Jose Garcia as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Plainview gave up the first goal last Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Trimble Tech 2-1.

Plainview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Tascosa, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-1.

Tascosa was able to grind out a solid victory over Plainview in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. Does Tascosa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Plainview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
