Volleyball Game Preview: Howland Tigers vs. Ursuline Fighting Irish

The Howland Tigers will face off against the Ursuline Fighting Irish at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Howland challenged Struthers on Monday. The Tigers blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The Tigers have beaten the Wildcats the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Ursuline made easy work of Alliance on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Ursuline was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-19, 25-19.

Howland's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Ursuline, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.

Howland took their win against Ursuline in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fighting Irish turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
