Volleyball Recap: Head-Royce Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Head-Royce lost to Redwood Christian back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Head-Royce Jayhawks came out on top against the Redwood Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jayhawks.

Head-Royce had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Head-Royce's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. As for Redwood Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Head-Royce will face off against Stuart Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Head-Royce is facing Stuart Hall at the right time seeing as Stuart Hall is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Redwood Christian, they will square off against College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. College Prep will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Redwood Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
