Soccer Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Fort Madison Bloodhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Fort Madison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in April.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Fort Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-1 record this season.

Fairfield will welcome Centerville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Madison, they will square off against Davenport North at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
