Soccer Recap: Pecos Takes a Loss

Pecos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Greenwood Rangers, falling 14-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 737th, while the Rangers are ranked 336th).

Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Greenwood, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, Pecos will challenge Andrews at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenwood, they will square off against Estacado at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
