On Thursday, the Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack took their matchup with ease, bagging a 58-18 win over the Randolph Cardinals. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elgin/Pope John to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braelyn Martinsen, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Kurpgeweit, who had 16 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Elgin/Pope John and bumps their season record up to 18-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Randolph, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-19.
