Basketball Preview: Spanish River Sharks vs. American Heritage Stallions

The Spanish River Sharks will take on the American Heritage Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Spanish River is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 68 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Pine Crest on Monday. They had to suffer through a 55-24 loss at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Panthers are ranked 85th).

American Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Spanish River, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
