Soccer Game Preview: King vs. Four Corners

The King Lions will square off against the Four Corners Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. King's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, King turned things around against Blake on Friday. They and the Yellow Jackets finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Lions have been dealt a draw since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Four Corners' offense. They lost 8-0 to Auburndale on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 377th, while the Bloodhounds are ranked 98th).

King's draw gives them a new season record of 1-11-2. As for Four Corners, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10-1.
