Basketball Recap: Michigan School for the Deaf Tartars vs. Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans

Michigan School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 72-16 defeat at the hands of the Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tartars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-22 on Friday.

Ohio School for the Deaf got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Charly'S Corea out in front who went 14 for 26 to rack up 28 points and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Corea a new career-high in shooting accuracy (54%). Keaton Maish was another key player, going 9 of 13 en route to 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Michigan School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Ohio School for the Deaf, they pushed their record up to 8-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
