Volleyball Recap: Fort Recovery Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Spencerville on Monday, Fort Recovery came back down to earth. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Versailles Tigers on Thursday. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-9.

Fort Recovery's offense was headlined by Bridget Homan and Cameron Muhlenkamp, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Kayden Ranly and her seven assists. Finally, Homan was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Fort Recovery dropped their record down to 6-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Versailles, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Fort Recovery didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Ansonia on the 4th. As for Versailles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Jackson Center on the 4th.
