 Garden Spot has been on the road for two straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Daniel Boone Blazers at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Monday, Garden Spot beat Exeter Township 8-4.
  Ryder Hertzler and  Caleb Zimmerman made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound,  Hertzler   struck out eight batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Meanwhile,  Zimmerman   tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). At the plate,  Hertzler  went 1-for-3 with a  home run, while  Zimmerman  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kye Harting, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ryan Speers, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Daniel Boone never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Chester with a sharp  13-0 win. The  victory was just what Daniel Boone needed coming off of  a  14-0 loss in their prior  game.
 Garden Spot pushed their record up to 3-0 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Daniel Boone, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
