Soccer Game Preview: Syracuse vs. Weber

The Syracuse Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Weber Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Syracuse didn't have quite enough to beat Layton and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Weber was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Davis. While losing is never fun, Weber can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Davis are ranked fifth).

Syracuse's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Weber, they have now lost four of their last five games at home. That's done some real damage to their 7-10 record this season.
