Baseball Recap: Sevier County Victorious

Sevier County was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Fulton on Thursday. The Smoky Bears' pitchers stepped up to hand the Falcons an 8-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-3 last Saturday.

Sevier County's victory bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Fulton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season.

Sevier County will host Jefferson County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fulton, they will be playing at home against South Pittsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
