Volleyball Recap: Crestview Extends Winning Streak to Six

Crestview came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Brookfield Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. The Rebels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-17.

Crestview was led to victory by Addison Wendell and Alaina Auer. Wendell had 14 digs and one assist, while Auer hit 67.4% for 31 kills and eight digs and two blocks. That's the most blocks Auer has posted since back in October of 2024.

Crestview's record is now 6-0. As for Brookfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Crestview will square off against rival Newton Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brookfield is set to take on their familiar foe LaBrae at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
