Franklin's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They didn't even let the Thurston Eagles on the board, marking the Patriots' second-straight 16-0 shutout. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 23 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Franklin pushed their record up to 30-6-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Thurston, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 victory against Glenn on the 30th. Thurston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
