Basketball Recap: Olathe Northwest Takes a Loss

If Olathe Northwest was feeling good fresh off their 57-13 takedown of Shawnee Mission West last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Olathe Northwest Ravens fell 54-46 to the Olathe North Eagles on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Eagles are ranked 27th).

Asia Lee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Olathe North, going 7-for-12 en route to 22 points and three steals. The contest was Lee's seventh in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daliyah Williams, who posted seven points and five assists.

Olathe Northwest now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Olathe North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Olathe Northwest nor Olathe North have any future games scheduled.
