Ridgemont lost to Waynesfield-Goshen back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Golden Gophers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Gophers.

While Ridgemont won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 25-16.

Ridgemont's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
