California City scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They snuck past Arvin with a 61-55 victory. With that win, California City brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
California City relied on the efforts of Darrius Brown, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, and Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown , who scored 19 points. The game was Brown 's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Avery Spears, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Rosamond, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past Mammoth 77-57.
Rosamond's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andrew Arredondo led the charge by scoring 24 points. The contest was Arredondo's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Fabian Robles, who scored 18 points.
