Jim Thorpe had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Salisbury Township Falcons. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Jim Thorpe's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while Salisbury Township are ranked 383rd).

Jim Thorpe's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Salisbury Township, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
