Basketball Game Preview: Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Red Hawks vs. Arcadia Raiders

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau is 2-8 against Arcadia since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Red Hawks will take on the Arcadia Raiders at 7:15 p.m. Arcadia took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, who comes in off a win.

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They skirted past Black River Falls 46-44. The Red Hawks didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Arcadia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against West Salem, falling 72-31. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Panthers are ranked 57th).

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, their victory bumped their record up to 2-18.

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau took a serious blow against Arcadia in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 67-14. Can Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
