West Vigo is a perfect 6-0 against North Vermillion since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will take on the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. West Vigo will be strutting in after a victory while North Vermillion will be coming in after a defeat.

While West Vigo's win against Greencastle wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings skirted past the Tiger Cubs 10-8. Ten seems to be a good number for the Vikings as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Meanwhile, North Vermillion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-4 to Seeger.

The win made it two in a row for West Vigo and bumps their season record up to 4-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for North Vermillion, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went West Vigo's way against North Vermillion when the teams last played back in April of 2022, as West Vigo made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
