Basketball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 52-18 loss at the hands of the Kingman Academy Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dust Devils of the 40-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Kingman Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

River Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kingman at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Kingman Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Wickenburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
