The Enterprise Hornets will head out on the road to take on the Pleasant Valley Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season.
Enterprise is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Red Bluff just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 47-45. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Hornets came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Spartans are ranked 509th).

Enterprise's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Alijah Collins, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 14 points, and Wes Ramirez, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. Ramirez is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played.
Even though they lost, Enterprise smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Inderkum and fell 83-48. The Vikings were down 57-33 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Enterprise will need focus on slowing down Keith Thompson, one of several Pleasant Valley players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 11 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Moore, who put up six points.
Pleasant Valley's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-8. As for Enterprise, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Enterprise has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Pleasant Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Enterprise came out on top in a nail-biter against Pleasant Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 58-56. Will Enterprise repeat their success, or does Pleasant Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
