Volleyball Recap: Great Valley Comes Up Short

Great Valley lost against Upper Merion Area back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots fell 3-1 to the Vikings.

The final score came out to 25-13, 18-25, 25-17, 25-16.

Great Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Upper Merion Area, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Great Valley will take on Unionville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Upper Merion Area, they will venture away from home to challenge Pottstown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
