Volleyball Recap: Douglass Bulldogs vs. Cheney Cardinals
Douglass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheney Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10.
Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 6-22. As for Cheney, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Belle Plaine the next time they take the court. Douglass will host Belle Plaine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cheney will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
