Basketball Recap: St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings vs. Concordia Prep Saints
St. John's Catholic Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Concordia Prep Saints and fell 74-38. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-70 back in January.
Concordia Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Robinson out in front who posted 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Robinson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Kenyan Lucas was another key player, going 5-for-6 to rack up 15 points.
St. John's Catholic Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Concordia Prep, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.
St. John's Catholic Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-74 victory against Friends on the 14th. As for Concordia Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-54 win against Chapelgate Christian Academy on the 14th.
