Logan/Palco had won 16 straight games and Rhett Kats did his part to make it 17 on Tuesday. Logan/Palco walked away with a 57-49 win over the Plainville Cardinals thanks in part to Kats, who went 11 of 23 to rack up 28 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. His evening made it 19 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Case Ashmore, who went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.8% field goal percentage.

Logan/Palco's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. As for Plainville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logan/Palco will head out to challenge Triplains/Brewster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Logan/Palco is facing Triplains/Brewster at the right time seeing as Triplains/Brewster is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Plainville, they will venture away from home to take on Thomas More Prep-Marian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
