While UMS-Wright Prep's victory against Fairhope wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Pirates 2-1. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Fairhope's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of HC Miller, who had ten digs and two assists, and Paige Benson, who had seven digs and one assist.

UMS-Wright Prep's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Fairhope, they moved to 17-15 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
