Somerset College Prep Academy took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They skirted past the Okeechobee Brahmans 3-2. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Brahmans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-99) Somerset College Prep Academy actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 25-20, 15-25, 15-11.

Okeechobee's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
