Basketball Recap: DSST: College View Comes Up Short

DSST: College View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies 55-28. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.

Despite the loss, DSST: College View still got an impressive performance from Da'Niyah Hickey, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 17 rebounds. That was a full 89.3% of DSST: College View's points, marking the 15th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

DSST: College View's record now sits at 6-10. As for Bruce Randolph, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Coming up, DSST: College View is taking a road trip to take on Denver West at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Denver West will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something DSST: College View surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bruce Randolph, they have already played their next contest, a 40-34 defeat against Manual on the 7th.
